The Satara Incubation Centre is designed to promote a culture of experimentation, innovation and entrepreneurship. The main aim is to provide an opportunity as an innovation hub to ideas, businesses, and projects driven by technology, Artificial intelligence and engineering.

The SIC will promote ideas, support and nurture start-up businesses and provide leadership and mentorship from the industry. The SIC will provide opportunities and market access to the innovator and the creator of design and products.

The SIC will pursue enterprises and provide support to scale up businesses and become a catalyst for growth and quality.

The curriculum is designed to promote the following skills.

Biotechnology & Chemistry

Biotechnology & Chemistry defines the scope that reaches out and meets the present job market skills to hospitals, laboratories, environmental management in all industries, food processing industries, paints & emulsions, and pharmaceuticals, thereby helping students become proficient in practical knowledge and practice.

Automation & Robotics

The Automation & Robotics program will guide students into the various automation processes of machines, software and other technologies to perform tasks. While the study of robotics will guide students in the process of designing, creating and using robotics in the field of work. This course teaches design, construction, operation and application of machines and robots in the field of manufacturing.

Social Sciences

Social Sciences is a study with emphasis on Community studies, Urban planning and learning about Social capital to enable the growth of society and culture. Through this study, students will build a skill set for building strategic alliances towards community shared values and enabling organisations to promote sustainable business practices.

Agricultural Studies

Agricultural studies will focus on scientific tools, AI, technology, agri-biotechnology, efficient water management, and more. This course work will enable the student to be well versed in trade, business negotiations and use best practices to enhance the yields of the crops.

Environment Studies

Environment Studies emphasises Water as a finite source while capitalising on the use of technology for the waste management process and restructuring the Recycling Processes for solar and batteries. And, creating new pathways for engineering renewable energy to benefit communities. This multidisciplinary course will support students in engaging with companies and society to develop sustainable strategies to prevent future problems, ideally for policymakers, energy and all other industry entrepreneurs.
