Activities

The Merry Angels School ensures that the co-curricular activities are interwoven in the school routine. These activities enhance the social and intellectual skills, while bringing out the moral values, grooming the personality and building every child’s character.

All students participate in activities that are offered by the school. Many after school activities are available for students to select.

Activities include:

  • Trekking
  • Swimming for both girls and boys at different timings
  • Table Tennis
  • Volleyball
  • Basketball
  • Football

Special Events

Assemblies

Assemblies are held every week to remind students of their aims, goals and dreams. Students run the assembly giving them an opportunity to practice their skills and showcase their learning.

Projects & Art Celebration

Each year, students showcase their art work and their project work. This week is celebrated with fervor and is supported by all members of the community.

Festival Celebrations

All festivals and important Jayanti’s are celebrated with enthusiasm, keeping the child’s growth and learning in the forefront, while aligning it with the school’s goals, vision and mission.

Picnics and School Trips

All children are expected to attend the school trips. They are designed to build a focus on environmental, cultural, ecological objectives.

Sports Day

On this day, students are reminded about the importance of physical performance, while encouraging sportsmanship and competitive spirit.

Annual Day

A function that all members look forward to, where children, teachers, parents showcase their talent through dance, songs, drama, musical instruments and other artforms. Student of the year award is being awarded to grade 10 students for their overall performance.

Student Council

The Student Council is a student body represented and elected by the students and the faculty. The student body’s role is to collaborate with the faculty and support academic and non-academic activities and programs like community events, sports, and community service. Students in the core council learn leadership skills through the student council and learn how to conduct interviews, assemblies and build camaraderie and community spirit.
