On-Duty Health Officer
The school has an on-duty Health Officer who is responsible for attending to minor injuries and illness. If any further treatment or attention is needed, a doctor would be consulted. Parents would be notified if a doctor needs to be called. All the medication and treatment will be recorded in the nurse register.
Medication at School
Students should not be self-medicating in school; parents should list medication with the explicit instruction to the school health officer who can administer the same. Any medicine will not be administered to any student without the earlier consent of guardians.
Students who feel unwell during class time or during school time should inform the teacher in class. Parents will be notified immediately, if students are seriously ill. Students with allergies and other ongoing health issues should inform the school in writing. Any accidents that occur at school will be attended to immediately and recorded well, and parents will be informed.
